TRAVEL GADGET: Crumpler vis-a-vis Luggage

whoa!!! Wait a minute! Isn’t Crumpler – yeah, the stick man meets jelly fish with bad hair day – known for its soft-shell camera bags and backpacks?!?

So what’s this really??? Hard shell travel cases!

Yes, Crumpler has taken all the company’s bag-making know-how and applied it to traditional luggage … and the outcome is the Crumpler Vis-A-Vis Luggage. Available in four styles — two sizes of trunks, an attaché, and a carry-on — and with your choice of either black or red handles, each is made with a custom polycarbonate/ABS shell, and sports features like a unique clothes compression system, smart grab tailored handles, zip safety straps, built-in TSA locks, and custom-designed, travel tested components … in short: rather funky stuff that’s practical and durable.

As the website advertises: your luggage should be as memorable as your journey – our hard case luggage collection is designed for safety, durability and unforgettable style. With smart-grab handles, smooth glide wheels and a unique clothes compression system, the Vis-a-Vis range is for people who know how to travel.

Definitely eye catching without departing too far from the conservative side, I love the olive green interiors and the compression system. The images are also a departure from their usual set of clientele for sure!
